THE WELCOME PARTY

Friday November 8th, 2024

LOCATION: CALETA FUEGO AT HOTEL XCARET MEXICO

TIME: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

DRESS CODE: Resort Chic

DETAILS

Help us kickoff our wedding weekend at our welcome party! There will be an open bar and passed appetizers.

Please dress as if you were going to a nice dinner at the resort. This event will be in the sand and the sun will already be set.

Caleta Fuego is pictured to the right and is located outside of the Fuego building - please click the following link to see Caleta Fuego circled on the Xcaret Hotel map.

WEDDING DAY

Saturday November 9th, 2024

The ceremony and reception will be in the evening at Xcaret Park - these events will not be in the sun or sand and will be covered in the event of rain. We have included images below of our ceremony and reception location.

We understand some families will be traveling with their children as Hotel Xcaret is a family friendly resort however our wedding ceremony and reception is exclusively for adults.

DRESS CODE DETAILS

For our wedding day we are requesting black tie optional or formal attire - wearing the color black is encouraged! The more glamorous the better - please use the following images as inspiration 🖤

Women are encouraged to wear a comfortable block style heel as there is a short walk between locations.

CEREMONY

LOCATION: LA HACIENDA AT XCARET PARK

TIME: ~7PM

DETAILS
Xcaret Park is a short shuttle ride from the Hotel. Private transportation to the park will be arranged for our guests. There will be a short walk from drop off to the ceremony location where refreshments will be available. When we receive more details on timing and logistics we will update this page with the info.

RECEPTION

LOCATION: LA ISLA AT XCARET PARK

TIME: ~8PM - 1AM

DETAILS
We plan on having a short ceremony and there will be a short walk to the reception location. Before dinner begins - there will be 20 mins for guests to settle in and enjoy a drink. The reception will go until 1AM but there will be a private shuttle service to take guests back to the hotel in the event they do not want to stay the entire time.

After the reception - we plan on continuing the party back at the Hotel at Cantina Los Faroles 🥳

RELAX, ADVENTURE....OR BILLS GAME?

There are no planned events for this day. You can refer to the Xcaret Guide we have created (linked above) for more details on activities and excursions included with your stay.

A reminder for guests staying in the Fuego building: Sunday Brunch at Las Cuevas is included with your stay (this is normally $175 per person for non Fuego guests). Brunch runs from 10AM - 4PM and a reservation is required.

Lucky for us, there is a Bills Game at 1PM. We are trying to coordinate with the resort if the game will be available and if it can be viewed at one of the outdoor pools. We will provide more details once we have them. Go Bills!

ARRIVAL INFO

We cant wait to see you! Please note - round trip transportation from the airport to the hotel is included with your stay. If you would like to schedule private transport at an additional cost - please reach out to Monica from Yellow Umbrella Events (monica@yellowumbrellaevents.com) who can help arrange this.

The hotel is ~1 hour away from the Cancun airport. The shuttle buses are spacious, air conditioned, and have an onboard bathroom. Here is a video that shows the arrivals process more in depth: Arrival Video Process Please note this arrival lounge shown in the video is only in Terminal 4.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL DETAILS

The below info is from the booking confirmation email you received titled: "Victoria & Michael's Wedding Trip Confirmation": Non-Stop Transportation to the Resort: IMPORTANT: Hotel Xcaret's Included shuttle transportation ONLY offers service from the Cancun (CUN) Airport to Hotel Xcaret and back to the Cancun (CUN) airport. This transportation is a complimentary service that is included in your reservation price and has no cash value, so there are no reductions in price or refunds if the transportation is not used. The shuttle WILL NOT drop you off or pick you up at any other location other than Hotel Xcaret Mexico/Arte and the Cancun Airport. Officially, shuttle transportation services are only provided for your actual check-in and check-out dates. If you arrive in the area any date earlier than your check-in date or depart any day later than your check-out date you will need to arrange your own transportation to wherever you are going and to/from Hotel Xcaret on your actual check-in/check-out dates. If you plan to go anywhere other than the Cancun airport on your official resort departure day, you will be responsible for managing your own transportation. Check-out is at 12 PM but you can stay and access the resort (not the parks) until 6 PM on your check-out date. Hotel Xcaret offers luggage storage until you depart. Late check-outs must be requested directly with the resort once you arrive. Yellow Umbrella Events cannot make this request for you. Once you depart the resort on your departure date, you will no longer be able to access the resort. This means that you will not be able to return to the resort on any other date to utilize the shuttle transportation to return to the Cancun Airport. If you need assistance with transportation once on site, please visit the Guest Services Desk and they can assist you.

ARRIVALS

After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, proceed outside the airport and look for the resort's transportation staff who will be holding a sign that says "Hoteles Xcaret" (see picture to the right). You must exit the arrival hall bypassing all representatives inside the airport trying to get your attention. These representatives are there to sell time-shares and may be a representative for your hotel, but are not your transportation provider.

• Please note: the transportation will not transfer guests to the resort nor will the resort accept guests prior to 9:00 AM on the day of check in.
• Transportation operates every 30 minutes starting at 5:45 am thru 9:00 pm and every 1 hour from 9:45 pm through 5:45 am.
